Assistant Project Manager

Job description:

Support project managers. This includes:

  • Help PMs manage budgets, schedule, and purchasing
  • Meet with job super weekly to update schedule, produce gantt charts, do draft of budget update
  • Help PMs manage customers, architects, designers
  • Attend site meetings, take meeting minutes, create agendas, capture to-do items
  • Bid projects
  • Schedule sub walkthroughs
  • Prepare bid packages
  • Chase subs to get proposals
  • Do material take-offs

Job requirements:

  • Interest in high-quality construction
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and employees to move projects forward.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Comfortable with web-based technology
